Looking for a friends 3 year old. He loves things breaking eg running cars in to towers. Thought of domino run or collapsing trainset bridge. Can be flexible on budget and wondwered what have been hits with demolitionteams.

Magnetic connector type toys like brio trains. Wooden track too is great for connection/disconnection.

Drums? Grin

There are children's versions of things like jenga, where you have to balance animals on top of each other until they fall down. Sorry i can't think of the specific game, but if you look somewhere like the entertainer they have loads of games. The entertainer has a minions domino game too at the moment where you knock things down. Kerplunk? Buckaroo?

What about angry birds sling and smash
Sets of building blocks that you fire angry birds in to knock them down. My Ds has played with a star wars version for years, but I can't remember how young he was when he got it.

It depends how near four he is, but DS1 got a Hotwheels set last year, which involves launching cars at a tower that you put bits of ‘Lego’ on, and the cars break them (sorry, I’ve not explained that well).

Simple wooden town blocks that can be built and easily toppled are great.
Mine also loved those stacking cups toys, marble runs, and inflatable toys that you can jump on/knock over (for garden!)
My destructor is now 8 and she loves her electronic drum kit, Lego, and still plays with brio trainset a lot

Might be too young for him if he's closer to 4 but this probably meets the "bashing" requirement! www.brightminds.co.uk/products/melissa-doug-monster-bowling

A piano playmat? Makes lots of noise but won't cause damage!
