I love them Xmas Grin
Not a horror story but something with a bit of a jump.
Previous ones I've watched :

Crooked House - trilogy . Love it
Whistle and I;ll Come to You - (didn't understand it)
The Turn of the Screw (brilliant)

I started The Woman in Black (but I had to switch it off )

The episode of 'Inside Number 9' set at Christmas was good.

This Year:

I see on BB4 there are 3 short films
The Dead Room - written by Mark Gatiss (who wrote Crooked House)
Lost Hearts
The Ash Tree

and Krampus on the 23rd on Ch5 might be worth watching?

Any other takers on a Spooky Christmas Eve Film....?

Not here thanks. I'd rather have a documentary or a book.

I do like a ghost story at Christmas. A Christmas Carol is of course not at all creepy, but it's so atmospheric I always read it in December and watch a couple of the many films (including The Muppets Smile).

I love a good Xmas ghost story, the MR James adaptations are fab. I enjoyed The Tractate Middoth and A View From A Hill (although I'm not sure how Christmassy either of them are!). The Signalman is great too. It's adapted from a Charles Dickens story.

Krampus is up there with one of the worst Christmas films ever!

Xmas horror is one of my favourite genres! (It’s niche, I admit Xmas Blush)

Ooh, the Ash Tree and Lost Hearts! Not my favourite MR James stories, but a rare treat to see them televised, nonetheless.

Ooh these all sound fabulous, thank you for starting this thread! I've set my TiVo to record all the upcoming spooky programs.

I wish all of my favourite shows had a Christmas special like sitcoms etc do. Can you imagine a Walking Dead Christmas episode Grin
