Just that - my 3 year old has written to father Christmas (well, not written it herself!!) asking for a cup of tea (and a unicorn...). Any ideas what I can get her? She has a plastic tea set already.

T2 have thermoses that keep tea warm forever. They also have a range of teas suitable for children (fruit tea and what have you).

Thanks for all the brilliant suggestions! Will have a look tonight and get something sorted! As for the unicorn .... I have got a soft toy but I think she may be disappointed when she sees it! She originally asked for a unicorn and a new toilet so I was pretty relieved when that changed to a cup of tea! She has tried a teaspoon of tea before, but usually we give her warm milk or fruit tea if she asks. I hope her requests remain as funny and modest in future years! Smile

Home Bargains have lovely Unicorn shaped cups and egg cups. My grandaughter, who's six, was desparate for one. She's getting them in her stocking.

How about a voucher for a cream tea? There's a few places near me that do children's ones with character cups. It would get cold travelling from the north pole!! Then a wrapped tea set.

As for the unicorn.... Did u see the Philip schofield programme? There was a walking ride on unicorn 😂

My dd asked for a loaf of bread one year so she could have a midnight snack. Mrs Claus made it and wrote her a note. Every year since on Christmas eve I've had to make 'mrs Claus' special chocolate tree bread.' I asked if we should ask for the recipe to make it but dd told me I couldn't make it as I'm not so good at cooking.....

The Emma Bridegwater tea sets for children are gorgeous. They’re melamine so won’t break either.

So cute :) :)

We are big tea drinkers in this house, so when dd was small we stole the idea of 'cambric tea' from Little House in the Big Woods (which dd loved). Basically hot water & milk with just a splash of tea in to colour it.
