Just that - my 3 year old has written to father Christmas (well, not written it herself!!) asking for a cup of tea (and a unicorn...). Any ideas what I can get her? She has a plastic tea set already.

What about leaving a little tray with a special cup, biscuits etc on and a note that says from Santa?

insancerre · 08/12/2018 09:11

Im more interested in how you are going to wrap the unicorn

Ohyesiam · 08/12/2018 09:11

Give her a cup of tea on Christmas morning. That’s what she meant isn’t it?

Auntiepatricia · 08/12/2018 09:11

Tea set with a note to say it’s so she can make her own bloody cup of tea😂

LeonoraFlorence · 08/12/2018 09:12

Aww. I would leave a festive tray out with nice Christmas mug, teabag, milk, Christmassy biscuits etc.

TheQueef · 08/12/2018 09:13

I'm impressed you already sorted the unicorn.

What about a pretty cup and saucer (I'd get a vintage China set) and a small tiered cake stand.
A grown up afternoon tea?

AlexaShutUp · 08/12/2018 09:16

That's so cute. Grin

TheRattleBag · 08/12/2018 09:18

Teasmade?

Set the timer to be ready for when she gets up, so she's welcomed into Christmas Day with a fresh cuppa :-)

PippilottaLongstocking · 08/12/2018 09:19

I think just a nice mug (if go for an enamel mug) and a tea bag would be fine. Maybe look in vintage/charity shops for a beautiful teaspoon (ones near me often have proper silver spoons) to stir the tea with

TheRattleBag · 08/12/2018 09:19

On second thoughts maybe not - just saw that they're about £60!

PippilottaLongstocking · 08/12/2018 09:19

And then wrap it all up together with a packet of her favourite biscuits

I remember when DD (then 2 1/2) was asked by Father Christmas what she wanted and her answer was 'lunch'.

Get her a Melissa and Doug tea set!

TheVanguardSix · 08/12/2018 09:20

Oh and a TY Beanie Boo Unicorn.

TranmereRover · 08/12/2018 09:21

That’s so sweet - she obvyhears other people asking for tea and has built the concept up to unicorn levels of mythical wonder! One of mine asked for flowers and a chocolate cake and nothing else for two years in a row (she knew what I like!)

SmallestInTheClass · 08/12/2018 09:21

My DD loves her Chip from Beauty and the Beast mug.

BiddyPop · 08/12/2018 09:25

Tea in a flask (already milked) beside a cup? All ready to pour when she gets downstairs.

Such a cute request!

HolgerLowCarbingLoser · 08/12/2018 09:37

Tea set! Extra nice one, with a little tin of Christmas cookies to go with it.

Or a special new child’s Christmas mug which ‘magically’ appears in the kitchen on Christmas morning, maybe wrapped in a great big bow, with her very own box of tea and a little milk jug?

Bagadverts · 08/12/2018 09:42

Does she actually drink tea at all. If she does could you get a small box/borrow a few bags from a friend a different tea like earl grey so she can try it as well as the one you usually have.

www.zazzle.co.uk/h_m_british_tea_colour_chart_mug-168862673530092869 This with some tea bags in??

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 08/12/2018 10:52

Get her a thermal mug and have a cup of tea ready made for her. It should have cooled a bit overnight but still be warm enough for her to enjoy. Very sweet idea.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 08/12/2018 10:54

Oh, actually, you could leave it half filled so that santa left his carry mug behind!

SantaBabycharly · 08/12/2018 10:55

A cup with the letter T in it ?
