Child has asked Santa for a cup of tea - how can I sort this?!

Just that - my 3 year old has written to father Christmas (well, not written it herself!!) asking for a cup of tea (and a unicorn...). Any ideas what I can get her? She has a plastic tea set already.

What about leaving a little tray with a special cup, biscuits etc on and a note that says from Santa?

Aww. I would leave a festive tray out with nice Christmas mug, teabag, milk, Christmassy biscuits etc.

Set the timer to be ready for when she gets up, so she's welcomed into Christmas Day with a fresh cuppa :-)

I think just a nice mug (if go for an enamel mug) and a tea bag would be fine. Maybe look in vintage/charity shops for a beautiful teaspoon (ones near me often have proper silver spoons) to stir the tea with

I remember when DD (then 2 1/2) was asked by Father Christmas what she wanted and her answer was 'lunch'.

That’s so sweet - she obvyhears other people asking for tea and has built the concept up to unicorn levels of mythical wonder! One of mine asked for flowers and a chocolate cake and nothing else for two years in a row (she knew what I like!)

Does she actually drink tea at all. If she does could you get a small box/borrow a few bags from a friend a different tea like earl grey so she can try it as well as the one you usually have.

Get her a thermal mug and have a cup of tea ready made for her. It should have cooled a bit overnight but still be warm enough for her to enjoy. Very sweet idea.

Oh, actually, you could leave it half filled so that santa left his carry mug behind!
