M&S pre made party/buffet food. What's good, what's rank?

Who's tried any of the buffet style food? Mini burgers etc. What's worth it and what's not?

I've had the Luxury Canape selection and the Antipasti Mini Canape selection and they went down a storm. One of my neighbours was delighted to take the (very few) leftover canapes home with her.

I'd definitely buy them again. Would love to have tried the hot food but I only ordered 2 days before my event so was very limited in choice at such short notice. I kicked myself for not thinking of M&S a few days earlier.

The majority of the stuff is lovely. Mini burgers are only good if eaten when they're cooked, they're not great sitting on a buffet for a few hours, the bread goes stale quickly.

Thanks both. What do people think of the brie and cranberry tartlets?

It'll always be partly down to personal taste - what you fancy and what you don't - but personally I've never had any rank M&S party food. Always good and reliable IMO.
If it's anything that needs to go in the oven, I always buy things with the same heating time and temp - just less of a faff.

I did a party last night with M&S party food. It was all nice but people particularly liked the chicken skewers with what I think was apple and soy glaze, the mini beef Yorkshire puddings and the Indian starter pack.

Didn’t use any of the sweet canapés but the profiteroles from the freezer section were not up to usual M&S standard.

Not exactly “festive” but we tried the spicy crisp chicken bites last night and they were delicious.

Agree with pp, I’ve never had any bad party food from M&S!

We use M&S party food for our Christmas party each year and it always goes down well. Pork belly, Asian chicken skewers and duck spring rolls are our repeat purchases.
