My 15 year old neice has asked for face and body skincare products for Christmas - what things or brands are nice/preferably cool for girls that age? She's a lovely girl and I want to get her something she'll really like - thanks in advance!

I’d also recommend Liz Earle - particularly the cleanse and polish. Not sure if its cool but I started using it in my late teens. Despite trying other products/brands I always come back to this and now I only ever use this cleanser and Liz Earle moisturisers. Many of my friend use this brand too and having been doing so since we were teenagers. It’s perfect for teenage skin and still works for me in my early 30s.

Yes, agree with Liz Earle too. Got dd a set with C&P, a toner, moisturiser and gorgeous candle last year.

Lush are great for that age, I’d recommend products she can continue to buy if she likes them though so nothing pricey eg Simple and Nivea gift sets. There is also a brand called ‘I love...’ which is really nice and the Bayliss Christmas bubble baths we had marshmallow and doughnut scents before.

I've taken a scattergun approach and got bits of everything - travel sizes where possible - so she can try bits of everything! For face I went for nip+fab, Liz earle and Korean sheet masks (G9skin) and also balance me that a friend recommended. For body I got loccitane plus korres and tropic. Thanks for your help everyone - mumsnet is like a font of knowledge on literally everything!!

Be careful with Liz Earle if sensitive as they are full of irritating essential oils.

I would probably get Caroline Hirons double cleanse or things from superfacialist (vit c oil cleanser and salicylic acid cleanser?).

If she likes a face 'spritz' LRP serozinc is good for teen skin.

I think you’ve made some good choices OP. I have bought my dds some skincare from Neutrogena for their stockings.
