My kids had them last year and they do quite like them. They're not the mos t played with toy but quite funny and cute.

We got 2 last year. 5 and 7 year old They are accessible, live on the side on a little climbing frame. Played with for 20 mins on xmas day and probably a total of an hour since with various friends who don't have them, a few minutes entertainment then bored.

Have a quick look on ebay there are hundreds of them going for a couple of pounds. So if your 2 really want them I would go the ebay route!

Whyislarryhappy · 30/11/2018 14:27

They're not even expensive. My ds 3 has a monkey one and a dinosaur one, he plays with them maybe once a week. However my Dd 1 has a monkey one and plays with it atkeast 3 times a day

If you do, be careful to get the proper ones - my DDs were given some by a relative, one was genuine and worked fine, the other was an imitation and after about 2 weeks it stopped working and just made scary shrieking sounds.

They're truly shit. Dd got 2 last Christmas from relatives. They are never played with. Total waste of money.

22Giraffes · 30/11/2018 19:06

DD got a few last year including what was then the exclusive Toysrus unicorn. Well we might as well of not bothered! They were played with for about 30 mins and have literally sat on a shelf for the last 12 months Xmas Hmm

jacksonmaine · 30/11/2018 19:08

They are utter rubbish like hatchimals. DD played with for all of half an hour never to be touched again.

jellyandsoup · 30/11/2018 19:09

Yep total waste of money in our house

MaHeidsGouping · 30/11/2018 19:10

I've bought them for my DC's (5&6), I know they'll be dumped quickly like the Hatchimels last year but they were only £15 each so not too bad.

Musicalstatues · 30/11/2018 20:17

Thank you all, I think I will give them a miss!

Yep have to agree, we got DD the unicorn one and after the first day she's never touched it since. 2yr old DS loves it however!
