I love secret Santa, I started ours when I changed jobs a few years ago... but the buying!!
Budget is £10
My giftee is seriously into her VW camper van and her and her DH are often away in it. So something inspired by this seems like a good idea...
Help!

My brother has a VW Campervan and I got him a set of towels in the same colour as his van which somebody on eBay embroidered with the VW logo and his name.

Look at campervangift.co.uk

Sainsbury's has some lovely ladies campervan pjs in.

Urgh. We have been gifted a lot of camper van tat over the years. (sigh). It's mainly naff and cheesey. She doesn't need a picture of her camper van on something else. Get her something nice to go IN the van. A nice pair of enamelled mugs. A biscuit tin. A lantern. Just no tat.

The range does a whole range (Wink) of campervan inspired bits and bobs.

I own a Campervan, I have a collection of Campervan tat, chances are she will have most of it, if she has a vintage theme or similar going on in the van maybe you could buy or make something for inside the van? At the moment I’m making a blanket to go in mine (gift to myself).

I like the idea of Campervan pj’s though, I don’t have them 🤣

If you know the colours, could you make some bunting in the same or contrasting colours to hang in/off it? And maybe a couple of cushion covers to match that?

trixymalixy · 28/11/2018 14:27

I have to agree with wineymummy. We end up with loads of campervan themed tat which never gets used.

BiddyPop · 28/11/2018 14:46

(The reason I am suggesting just covers is that they won't take up loads of room but may be a useful spare set to allow existing covers to be changed. Other options could include a set of table mats (whether for place settings, or more insulated for hot things) or small table cloth or set of hand towel/dish towel.....etc. )

Then again, I could be talking completely useless rubbish....

Perhaps not the most exciting but I've just bought DH a portable bug zapper ready for next year's camping trips. Was around £12 on Amazon but you might manage to find one in budget.

Lucylugs · 28/11/2018 14:58

How about some nice citronella candles for evenings when they're camping.

Littlechocola · 28/11/2018 15:00

Don’t buy the seaside vw shite. She will smile and say how great full she is but she doesn’t mean it. It is tat, all of it. Only people who don’t own vw campers like the tat. (That and T4/5 owners).
For £10 buy hand warmers, a hot water bottle or a torch.
