What on earth are these figurines called?

My mum bought me these figurines from a market in Holland, they came with a slip of paper that explained they were to be baked in the Christmas cake. My Dds have always used them to decorate the top instead, and so I thought I'd get some more... But I've lost the slip of paper! Anyone able to help?
