Lovely ideas for baby's first Christmas

It is my baby's first Christmas, he will be 7 months and I would like some ideas of possible gifts and fun things to do in the run up to Christmas to make it special for us all.
If you have an older baby what toys do they like to play with? It would be nice to get something for the next stage up.

DD was 9 month for her first Xmas. Can't for the life of me remember what I got her. But I do remember what she liked playing with. Lol

Personally I'd go for something classy, glass. So when given to her when she moved out she can use them.

Do his handprint on a bauble

I do like the idea of getting a Christmas bauble every year. We haven't done his hand prints yet so that is something to try.

He is starting to show interest in proper toys now as well so he might like the train and the sorting eggs.

A nativity scene to use every year

My baby boy will also be 7 months on Christmas. I’m got a nativity set which we will get out each year (I used to love playing with mine when I was little) and we have made a tree decoration with his footprint on. Will get him some toys etc but he won’t remember them this year. Excited for the next years to come though!

We love Duplo and the 123 Playmobil sets. Got when my little one was very little but still on the go 2 years later.
