Well, not really, but I c a nt think of what to call it.
Dh and I do not spend enough time alone together at all, we spend loads of time with the kids and at work and on our phones, but haven't made time for each other. There's nothing he needs or wants for Xmas, so I thought, I would do something where I book 12 days or evenings out, 1 a month, that he can open and we can go and do that thing.
Just no idea how to start, how to present it, ideas... Thinking vouchers for experience type things, meals out.. Cheap stuff as well as more expensive, can't really book dates apart from first couple of months due to work and childcare though.
Any thoughts!?

I've done this before.
Bought cinema/theatre gift cards, same for some chain restaurants/local pub that do vouchers. Also bought some experience type vouchers on Groupon or similar. For some things that couldn't be booked or paid for in advance I just printed out little slips of paper explaining what we would be doing. Then presented it all in 12 envelopes in a little brown box.

How did it go? Did you stick to doing the things you'd planned?

We did it for my in-laws last Christmas, a meal out at a different place the last Sunday of the month. We made it to July until illness made it impossible. They loved it and looked forward to it each month.

Yes, thinking the odd meal, interspersed with days out and cheaper stuff..
