Christmas ideas for couple with new baby

Hello,

Long time since i've posted as normally pop on here for house renovation advice!

My brother and his wife have just had a baby boy who will be 2 months old come Christmas day,

I normally get them each individual presents for Christmas and something joint - either something for the house or activity.

I thought a lovely gift would be a night at the theatre in London (I live just 20 mins on tube from theatre land) for just the two of them and my husband and I would have DN for a few hours and then they could either drive home after or stay with us.

Long and short I get the feeling that SIL reluctant to leave her son at just 5 months old and would prefer an activity for all 3 of them.

I completely appreciate this and don't want to do anything that makes them feel uncomfortable however the thing is I don't have any DC myself or any friends with DC so at a complete loss of what to get!!!

Any suggestions of what a nice day out as a gift could be for 2 28 year olds + 5 month baby??

Don't judge but I would normally spend c.£200 on them (I have very few people to buy gifts for and I am very close to them) so happy to spend up to this.

Any help would be much appreciated!

What about national trust membership? Or maybe a hair voucher for your sil to feel more "human" again with the offer. Maybe a bookset like the gruffolo or mr men.

Cook vouchers!

Any day out for a baby that young doesn't need to be 'child friendly', we did loads of galleries etc while DD slept in the sling! And enjoyed proper meals out beforev the whole weanih fiasco kicked off Grin

Ooh the photoshoot would be great, I know so many couples find that they don’t get many photos of themselves with their little one.

I have spoilt SIL with treatments throughout pregnancy Grin

They are near a zoo so could be a good shout....

Totally agree that a tiny baby is likely not to have much involvement in anything that I do anyway!
