Nursery teachers - would you like this present?

Trying to get all my Christmas shopping done early. DS2 started nursery in September and the staff have been just brilliant helping him through the first few weeks where he struggled a lot. He now loves it and I am so thankful to the staff there. I know it’s their job but they went above and beyond with different techniques to help him settle.
There are 3 teachers (1 of which is his key worker who he adores but they all help out with all the kids really) and also a couple of trainee girls who I haven’t had much interaction with but I’m sure will have helped out lots too.
I was thinking of a really pretty bauble chosen by my son (not personalised) for each of the three main staff plus a £5 Starbucks voucher each, then a big box of biscuits/chocs to share with the rest of the staff. Would you like this as a nursery teacher?
We don’t have a lot of spare cash but I would like to give them a token gift each as I really appreciate what they’ve done for my son.
What do you think?

I'm a nursery teacher. I would love that.

Not a nursery teacher but used to do a job where we got token presents. They sound lovely presents; I would also write (maybe get your son to draw in it too) a card where you say what you said here about them being so great. They may treasure it for a long time and can also use it if they have a work portfolio or anything like that. Also email the boss / nursery manager.

Oooo yes my son will definitely be making a card and I’ll be writing a little note to them as well. Great idea about emailing the headmaster too.

In that case they sound like brilliant Christmas presents Smile.

I'm an infant teacher and still gang decorations on my tree from ex pupils who are now adults. I always think of them when I hang the decoration up. So yes, it's a lovely idea!

That’s really nice to know. Great. We can start looking out for some pretty baubles. Thanks everyone.
