HELP - Christmas present for 3yo girl

I have decided to buy a gift for a local child in need through a charity and have been given a 3yo girl to shop for.

I think a 3 yo would probably enjoy anything wrapped in some festive paper but would like some advice/recommendations! I want to stay away from anything too big and bulky in case she moves around often due to being in care.

What gifts have your 3yo been absolutely thrilled with?

My daughter was just 3.
Small things she loved were some hey duggee pyjamas from Sainsbury’s, a Peppa pig projector torch, cuddly toy story characters from the Disney store, a Peppa pig doctor case.

If it helps, my DD aged 3 has asked for ‘an Anna doll’ (from Frozen), a ‘Hello Kitty thing’ (no further information given), a ‘wooden cake’, and ‘a ribbon’.

On second thoughts perhaps that isn’t hugely helpful... Grin

I would think a special teddy or a soft bodied doll to snuggle would be a lovely gift for a 3 year old girl to have.

Duplo or play doh.

Thank you all!

I like the idea of something cuddly and comforting. I might put together a little box with a few bits so she has a couple of things to open.

My dd is 3. She's asked for play doh ice cream thing, Anna/Elsa dolls, Elsa dress up, fairies. She also loves peppa pig but had quite a bit of that for her birthday. She likes playing with her baby Annabell too. We're going to get her a lottie doll too and some more clothes to go with it. Possibly the super hero set.

my 3 year old loves her baby annabel doll, dressing up costumes (supermarkets are great for those), anything disney princess,, peppa pig or paw patrol. A little handbag or purse, especially a glittery one. She also loves anything flip sequin/sparkly.

If you are looking at cuddly toys, Jellycat are by far the nicest.

Mine is obsessed with Unicorns right now

FYI there's no point wrapping a charity gift as it will have to be unwrapped to check for suitability. Unfortunately there are enough weirdos in the world who would think it hilarious to donate a pack of toilet roll, box of knives or a stash of porn.

Generally, if you are asked to buy for 3 year old girl or 14 year old boy they don't actually have a particular child in mind, they just know they need X number of gifts in particular age categories. The people involved in the charity or with the recipients care will judge what items are most appropriate for whichever child in accordance with their circumstances, abilities and so on and will select from the supply of gifts donated.
