Dd (2) is just beginning to recognise the initial letters of family and friends names and is loving spotting them when we are out and about so I was thinking that it might be nice to buy her something along these lines for Christmas.
I have looked at VTech and leapfrog toys but wondered if anyone had any recommendations.
It is capital letters that she currently recognised but I would like something that makes the correct phonic sounds too.

The Vtech phonics bus is really good.

I was coming in to say the bus. It’s the only toy like this that my boys have really liked, and my five year old really used it to help get his letter sounds.

Both the Leapfro Phoncis Jam and the ELC Lights and Sounds Phonics Desk are good options.

Brilliant. Thank you. I will have a look at all of those.
