The deliciousness which is Poppycock

Oh no, made my usual trip to Costco at this time of year and they aren't stocking Poppycock, that delicious mixture of candied popcorn, pecans and almonds which is eagerly anticipated every Christmas in our house!
It is £25.99 on Amazon , I assume because it has to be shipped from the USA.

Any ideas please on where I may be able to source it considerably cheaper than Amazon?

Well I guess I'm going to have to give it a go myself then. Most recipes appear to be from the USA.
Does nobody know what I would use instead of light corn syrup? Is golden syrup the same?

You can try searching for Cracker Jack, Fiddle Faddle, or Crunch 'n Munch if you can't find Poppycock!

But yes, you can replace light corn syrup with golden syrup - golden syrup is much better in fact, corn syrup is nasty.
