Where are you ordering your Christmas food?

And what are you getting?
Every Christmas I order an overpriced turkey from the local farm shop, and prepare everything else from scratch.
I find it completely time consuming and takes the fun out of Christmas Day for me. This year I’m thinking of ordering prepared Christmas food but I’ve no idea what to get or where to get it.
The M&S stuff looks nice but expensive. Is it worth it or should I have a look elsewhere?

We’ve gone for m and s but I am due right before Christmas so we want easy to prepare food.

In years gone by I used to get a boned stuffed turkey from M+S and then do everything else myself. They were pretty good. Can't comment on the last few years though.
Tesco etc do things like pigs in blankets which are OK. Not as special as ones made with lovely chipolatas from the butchers but so much less fiddly!

I order the Xmas hamper from musclefood and have it delivered to my door a few days before. Comes with all the veg, meat, sauces etc. Then I quite enjoy spending Xmas eve afternoon prepping the veg and things so all we need to do the next day is cook and DH and I share that on the day.

We've ordered from Sainsbury.

I didn't realise muscle food do a Xmas hamper, we usually get meat from there anyway so that is good to know.
Not everywhere has their Christmas good ready to order yet, I think Sainsbury's and M & S are the only ones I could see.

I went and ordered some food from M&S the other night. I host Christmas and just find the day long with being up late the night before doing Santa and then up again early doing more Santa and then people arriving.

I ordered the free range bronze turkey and a dessert. My Mam brings the ham and a friend brings a trifle. I don't mind prepping the veg on xmas eve and I also ordered a buffet warmer thingy from Amazon yesterday as thats the bit I find most stressful, making sure everything is kept warm and timing it so that dinner is ready just after the starter but not able to enjoy starter as I have to serve up dinner.

I'm lucky to have a good independent butcher up the road. I order a duck because I prefer it.
