My DS will have just turned 14 at Christmas and his list has the obligatory Xbox games and character t shirts etc on it but I’m looking for ideas of little surprises to get him, everyone else’s lists always inspire me so.... GO! Grin

Keeping an eye on this as my son will be 14 a little after christmas and I have his main present but it's the extra little surprises I'm struggling with this year! And I don't want to just get him crap for the sake of it!

My Ds is 14 in December and I have no clue!! Nor for my Ds 15!!

VanillaSugary · 12/11/2018 17:42

Oh god, I came on for ideas! DS wants money and chocolate.

leesmum · 12/11/2018 17:46

Ds1 is 14 and having a Gamer's chair, electric toothbrush, Newtown cradle, lots of bits and bobs to go in his stocking.

Chippydippy · 12/11/2018 17:48

My Ds will have just turned 15 at Christmas and he's getting

Adidas t shirts
Trainers
Pc headset
Gaming keyboard
Steam voucher
Pjs
Slippers
Novelty boxers
Usual crap load of sweets

Mine is 15 in January, I need some ideas too!

SheWoreBlueVelvet · 12/11/2018 18:03

If they haven't got a Himalayan salt lamp, that was a surprisehit with mine (14). Takes the ions out of the air so they can be on screens forever.
We had a look round a second hand office furniture showroom. They have those massive desks that move up and down.. Considering getting one of those which would seriously cool apparently.
Or it's just money. I made a money tree last year with it hanging off.

Bigbagofnerves · 12/11/2018 18:29

leesmum which gaming chair did you get? This would be a good idea for my DS, he plays the Xbox in the living room and the sofa is too far away to be able to see properly.... I’d like one that’s easily portable so it could live in a corner or in his bedroom when he’s not around..... I’m off to google!

I bought my 14 year old ds a slush puppy maker. It was about £50 but along with this switch I think it's enough.

Ds 13 and 14 are getting gaming chairs, chrome book laptops, air max trainers, designer pants, designer smellies. Other possibilities are lava lamp, wallet, hoodies, rubix cube and sweets

leesmum · 13/11/2018 15:21

Bigbagofnerves I'm not sure but my husband ordered it off eBay, it's got a little foot stool that goes with it, there's loads to pick from I suppose it depends on how much you want to spend Xmas Smile

pollyhampton · 13/11/2018 15:29

Ds15 has asked for an Xbox game, earphones, nike hoodie, rucksack (probably vans) nike socks. I'm also thinking of superdry/ted baker smellies, rubix cube and some holiday spends (we are flying on holiday on boxing day).

BearSoFair · 13/11/2018 15:49

My DS1 is older (16) but we've somehow ended up with a Christmas tradition of getting him new novelty slippers every year, always a hit and the first thing he opens! This year it's these bread ones

ghostsandghoulies · 13/11/2018 19:09

My son (age 12) likes gadgety things from Firebox/I Want One Of Those sort of sites.
