I need help...Confused

DD 7 was in a lovely little Christmas show when she was at nursery “Ralph the Reindeer” basically about a reindeer with a green nose that lights up who saved Christmas!

DD was a very shy child and when she was given the main part of Ralph and we were a little worried as to how she would manage especially as she had a lot of lines (for a 4 year old) and had to sing a song, as shocked as we are she was wonderful and being in that little show really gave her a burst of confidence that never left. For that reason as silly as it is Ralph the reindeer now plays a big part in our family at Christmas and always leaves her a little present in her sack at Christmas.

This year on her Santa list she has asked for a box of things from Ralph!!! She isn’t a really demanding wee girl and other than pickles (don’t ask!!) and Lol’s hasn’t really asked for much else...

What kind of things could Ralph give in the box?

Previous things have been an antler hair band, last years Boden deer shoes, a reindeer dressing up outfit but as she’s getting a little older it’s becoming more tricky especially as she noticed that all the reindeer toys have red noses and none with green!! Grin

She has got a lot of other presents as well so don’t really want to blow the budget or buy crap that she won’t use of play with!!

NM’s help!!!!

I take it you've already found the drawing book?

AnotherOriginalUsername · 12/11/2018 11:41

Maybe move away from the reindeer theme a little to give yourself some leeway? Reindeer pyjamas, nice mug, hot chocolate set - cosy night in selection type thing?

RB68 · 12/11/2018 11:42

Have a look for a local crafter that might be able to help with green nosed reindeer - painted book ends or model, key rings or felted animal ornament etc etc.

But if he is a kind reindeer maybe some things she can do that help others out - bird feeders??? or similar

An inflatable reindeer antler ring toss game?

fanomoninon · 12/11/2018 11:49

Assuming you want to stick with the reindeer theme, stick reindeer into etsy, find some stuff that looks home-crafted and contact them to ask if they'll do a green nosed version? www.etsy.com/uk/search?q=reindeer

Thanks all love the personalised colouring book, that’s genius and won’t break the bank...

I love Etsy and use a lot but as this is just a bit fun, don’t want to spend too much and unfortunately personalised and handmaiden isn’t cheap...

I have however found her a few hair clips that are very cute and on the look out for a nice tree decoration that might look like Ralph!!

Love the kindness aspect too as she loves animals, wonder if I can adopt a reindeer or donate to a charity on her behalf...

Awh, I don't have any ideas at the moment but dd1 did Ralph the reindeer last year in nursery and I'm all full of warm fuzzy memories now Smile

You can adopt a reindeer from here if you were thinking about that:

Reindeer hot water bottle?

IwantaHippopotamusForChristmas · 12/11/2018 22:31

The works have reindeer gifts!
From crafts to stationary to earmuffs!

RuggerHug · 12/11/2018 23:41

A letter from Ralph signed with his hoof print(potato print). I got Rudolphs on the back of Santa's business card when I was that age and still have it😁😁😁😁

Yes I was a cynical child who asked for this...

Jemimafuckinpuddleduck · 13/11/2018 10:58

Thanks all you have made a tricky gift a lot easier!!
