I always do it earlylish because as you can see they both like the really popular stuff. I’ve even finished DS birthday presents which is 11 days later because if I leave it till after Christmas everything has sold out and that happened a few years back and he ended up with nothing he asked for, and he only ever asks for a few things.

I have not got Anything yet. I have 4 17, 16, 14 and 12 so not buying much as they are having laptops which I am leaving for dh to do. I'm not sure what to get for their stockings really. I have 3 girls but they are not into make up.

It's a weird year for me. My DCs are 13/7/17/18 and have actually said they don't want or need anything! No lists from 7 year old or demands from the teens.

I've bought nothing yet. DD has a birthday near Christmas so will end up with far more than she knows what to do with.
Trying to cut the plastic tat and not succumb to fads.

I have 3 kids DD9, DS7, DD6 and like other pp I've been trying to cut down on tat that will be binned or not used. Plus as they get older their tastes get more expensive. Video games for the switch for example come in at £40+. They all have me a list of the switch and 3DS games they wanted and it came to £160 needless to say that'll be a no go. Some I'll pick up cheaper second hand and some will wait for birthdays.
