Dollhouse dolls?

My DD wants some dollhouse dolls for Christmas, those miniature people. She already has the basic started wooden ones from last year and two Lottie dolls but she isn't keen on their facial expressions or the feel of the plastic so they've been crossed off. Barbie Chelsea has been added to the list, as well as some of Chelsea's friends, and a couple of those tiny princess toddlers, but I'm struggling to find anymore dolls that are the right size. I am hopeless, can anyone help me??

What height are the rooms in the house? What height are the doors?
This will determine the scale of the house and indicate what dolls to get.
Google Dolls House Scale. Tons on eBay, new and second hand.

John Lewis do some wooden figures but they’re not particularly pretty. However, the little sylvanian families of parents/children have been a major doll’s house success here.

(I mean cat/dog/hedgehog parent/children!)

Hi we've got a mix of le toy Van Budkins wooden characters, disney princesess from disney store, and shleich/papo/bullyland characters to go with our granddaughters woodenhouse and castle. We've just bought a Papo Santa for her for advent. These are all 10cm type. She's 2 1/2 so will enjoy wooden ones but I think the Schleich ones will be played with more as she grows. I'm watching this thread for more ideas.

How old is your daughter? Would she be able to play with the old fashioned porcelain dollhouse dolls and not harm them? Out of all the dollhouse dolls they've been my daughter's favorites because of their pretty clothes that are real fabric and such.
