If I get DD (10) a Nintendo Switch-what else do I need to get?

To go with it? Does it usually come with a game-or is it another £50 for that?

Then, case, headphones, more games, spare controllers?!

I have bought one for dd without a game, her dad will buy her the game (I hope). You probably need to buy a case for it if she’s going to to take it out. I’m not buying extra controllers, it comes with 2? My dds birthday is in February so if she wants any extras I will buy them for her birthday.

Keep an eye out on amazon Black Friday for any deals on games.

You can get secondhand games in CEX or Game. Still quite expensive but cheaper than brand new. You would want to get at least two different games to start with. It might be a good idea to get one that is lits of different mini games - if there is them for Switch. I have a Nintendo Wii and we have games like Mario and Sonic at the Olympics which is lots of different mini sports games on one disc.

We got a switch last Black Friday for £310 with 2 games. We gave 1 with his Christmas present and 1 for his birthday. This Christmas his main present is a new game he is desperate for which is £50 so he knew the switch would be a one off expensive one. Two controls are fine but would defy get a game even if it’s a cheaper one like mine craft.

Does the switch work on tv?

Lovemusic33 · 11/11/2018 19:43

It works as a handheld and on the tv.

I got a game with my bundle and then brought another on top as well as a case. Got him another game for his birthday 10 days later. Also purchased some extra controllers for when everyone else plays.

My DS had a switch for his birthday in January. He absolutely loves it. He hasn't had any accessories apart from a case until recently when we got him headset headphones for playing Fortnite. He wants a pro controller for Christmas and which is more like a PlayStation or Xbox controller.
