Boring one about hanging decorations without pins

Usually we hang our 80's retro style foil decorations from the ceiling with pins and to the walls etc with them. We've just decorated and I'm balking at the thought of making holes all over the walls. What do you all do to save paintwork?

Someone on here recommended Command Hooks; apparently safe to use as they leave no marks. They come in all shapes and sizes, this is an example. Hobbycraft do them too. I haven't used them myself but they look good.
