For the last five years I've always hosted Christmas and I absolutely flipping love it. I love the organising, the exciting events, and, of course, the delicious food!

I won't bore you with all the details, but it's been a long year of illness, injuries, health worries and bereavement in our family this year. Everything has now settled down and family are happy and well. Even my husbands parents will be joining us as they have just moved home from abroad. I should be super excited about it and would usually be well into the swing of planning. But I've lost my festive mojo... can any elves help me find it again please? [santa]

Have you tried putting on Christmas music? I’ve had carols from kings and buble’s Christmas album on today to try and kick start the present list! Christmas magazine purchasing?

If all else fails, M&S food to order a bunch of it?

You've plenty of time to find it, it's only November after all Wink

I’d personally wait a few weeks and then go late night shopping, our nearest city hasn’t switched the lights on yet! Nothing more Christmassy than seeing everywhere lit up and if the Sally Army band are out even better!

I found mine last night 'Holidays are coming'

You’ve got over 6 weeks to find it so I wouldn’t worry too much!

Thank you all!

I know it's early, I just had this notion that this year I would have everything wrapped up (boom boom) by the end of November so I could really enjoy all the lovely plans we have in December without the tiring bits.

Christmas music is always a winner and will be taking DD to see the Christmas lights being switched on next weekend, so I'm sure that'll do it! Grin
