I’m planning a Christmas party for 4 year old DS and his friends. No idea on numbers yet, we’ll probably invite the class and a couple of extras. I’d like to set up some crafts and games that won’t be too messy. Paper everywhere would be fine, but I want to avoid glue, paint and glitter with so many kids Grin All I can think of so far is paper chains, maybe musical statues, pass the parcel..? Help!

A table decoration to make? You could prep in advance a hemisphere of some sort with ready made holes in it (so it works like oasis but isn’t oasis. Or maybe use oasis with tin foil over it? Not sure if it’s toxic. ) Give children things to push into their decorations including a candle for the middle. Stuff like twigs of evergreen leaves and stuff on sticks.

Actually that sounds like hard work.

cut out 8 shape from white paper
Cut out hat and buttons from black paper
Scarf shape from red paper
Orange noses
Brown twig arms

Kids glue them together with pritt

I really am avoiding ALL glue. Small home, lots of kids, carpets... Smile

If you have a B&M near you op they have colour in christmas table covers if that might be any good? They look good, large enough for a number of kids to colour in- I'm planning on getting one plus some crayons/stickers for the dc to do on Christmas Eve.
