six month old baby ideas for stocking

Hi I am doing a stocking for six month old baby mainly due to it coming as a set with a personalised Christmas sack. Looking for ideas please
So far she has
personalised Christmas book
tights
Christmas slippers
hair toggles
soft trainers
soft shoes
rain rattle

Anyone have any other ideas? thanks

Toothbrush teething ring.
Baby safe finger paints
Hand puppets

not sure my sister will want her to have paints lol!!

But as an aside I would check with your sister that she is okay with you doing a stocking for her baby- some people like to be the only ones who do that- or they’re saying stockings are from Santa so only do one etc...

I agree with checking with your sister about the stocking. Stockings are a bit like birthday cakes, nice idea but generally something a parent likes to arrange I bought my twins first stocking with a view they would have the same one for a long time.

There is also a thread on AIBU about babies headbands/pram shoes. You may want to check that out. The opinions on hair accessories and pram shoes vary. Don't mean to be a downer but I would stock to things like tights, bath toys, t.shirts etc.

Last year i bought my 6 month old. Small musical toys. Shakers. Bells etc... sensory balls. Teddy. Small book.

My dd will also be 6 months at Christmas. She's getting tights, 2 dresses rolled up, a sleepsuit, a Christmas decoration for the playroom tree, a soft book, a couple of wooden Holztiger figures, a small soft doll, a bamboo cup, knife, fork and spoon in her stocking.

I would be okay with someone else getting her a stocking as I've always had 2 myself (we just put one with the main presents) but it's definitely worth checking or at least mentioning in advance.

good idea i will definately check she is ok with it if not just put it all in the sack. Wasnt really going to do one but stocking came with the sack!!
Interestingly my 16 year old still wants a stocking i think he just likes the idea of more sweets!!My 21 year old will not be getting one
Like the idea of plastic animals large ones will check them out and can pass idea to her

Just seen that it’s not your baby. Lovely thought but I agree that you need to check with the parent. I love doing stockings for my kids...not sure I’d want someone else doing it. But the thought is lovely.
