She literally wants nothing!

I don't want to resort to money as we are still very much into the surprise element of Christmas.

I have picked up the usual make up/toiletries but apart from that I am stumped

Tckets to a show/concert always go down well

skippy67 · 08/11/2018 17:04

Bluetooth speaker
Decent headphones

MrsJayy · 08/11/2018 17:07

Trainers or shoes my Dd is getting Docs

janisposh · 08/11/2018 19:28

She has so many of those ideas already 😫

Tickets are out as we don't live close enough to any major cities, it would require an overnight and atm our set up wouldn't allow that!

She has speaker/headphones etc, not to mention a better show collection that's most shops 🙄

Photo frame I am definitely going to get, she will love that, and the ugg slippers. I'm loathe to buy anything bulky as she will be moving into halls in September so will be on limited space!

Pandora is a good call, I didn't know they did keyrings, and maybe a voucher for something, although they are quite close to just cash.

What about stuff she could use for halls next year to get her excited about the adventures ahead.

janisposh · 08/11/2018 19:45

I'm doing her a university box, not to be part of her Christmas though.

@janisposh what will you put in the university box? Keen to get ideas to do the same for dd!

chocatoo · 10/11/2018 09:03

One of those little portable mini printers to print photos from her phone.
Pandora ring rather than key ring.

CantSleepClownsWillEatMe · 10/11/2018 09:26

Make up storage such as a rotating organizer. www.beautify.co.uk/bt_en/makeup-storage/rotating-makeup-organiser-white

This is nice too. www.beautify.co.uk/bt_en/makeup-storage/rose-gold-3-drawer-mirrored-organiser

Or a cute vanity which I think I'm going to buy for myself Grin. www.beautify.co.uk/bt_en/makeup-storage/small-vanity-case-jungle-print

OhFlipMama · 10/11/2018 09:29

If she truly genuinely doesn't want anything, would she like you to donate the money that you would have spent? A charity of her choice, or adopting an animal scheme. Maybe you could buy premium bonds?

janisposh · 10/11/2018 09:44

University box list is in progress

So far it has a desk lamp, new cosy blanket, pyjamas (she loves her pjs) and some note books and pens (sale purchase)

janisposh · 10/11/2018 09:47

I wouldn't donate to charity as a Christmas present. I do enough of that. I want to get her a gift.

Make up boxes are already in abundance in her room!

I saw a pandora ring the other day that she will love so that's a definite yes! I just need to find one of her others to get the size 🤔

I'm not sure about mini printers, I dont know much about them so will take a look into that. She already prints on a big printer at home as she has a photography hobby, mini printer could be good for snaps though

Jewellery? Would she like a name necklace?

AlexanderHamilton · 10/11/2018 21:42

Ideas I’ve had for dd include

Book token
Gift vouchers for local theatre
Make up
Show themed merchandise/clothing
She’d like tickets to Waitress but we are already booked for Come From Away in half term.
