My 18 month old is absolutely obsessed with playing with her friend's baby dolls and push chairs when we visit them. I'm going to get her a doll and some accessories for Christmas, but discovered there are so many to choose from! I'm struggling to find a really good doll which has things like a bottle, dummy etc. Please can I have your recommendations? Thank you!

Mine have always loved baby Annabelle. Still one of their favourite toys at 6 and nearly 9. They have silver cross prams and accessories are mostly baby Annabelle ones. Can get some good deals if you look out for them- I think asda usually have them in. To start with we got one if the smaller baby Annabelle dolls so dds could carry them more easily than the big ones

Have you looked at Rubens Barn dolls? They’re so lovely.

I’ve jusy got some cheap fabric baby dolls from Aldi for my boys as I want to try and encourage more imaginitive play without spending a fortune and I try to avoid plastic toys as I have a chewer - if they take to them I’ll get them some nice Rubens barn ones.

I've got my 18 month old a My 1st Baby Born. It comes with a dummy and is really small. I wish I got her the Baby Annabell instead it looks nicer but I've already wrapped it and stashed it away now.

Second the Rubens Barn dolls. I'm planning on getting dd one for her 1st birthday. The Babies are big, I think they fit newborn/0-3 month baby clothes and you can get bottles (although fabric not plastic), nappies etc for them.

SinkGirl We've also got one of those Aldi dolls and both dd and her big brother adore it. Wish I'd bought two now.
