Aldi mince pies

Does anybody know if Aldi are getting there minces pies with chocolate in Again?

I just came on the Christmas board to ask the same thing.
I went to Aldi this morning and they have plain ones and Sloe Gin flavour but no Chocolate Orange 😩

Christmas will be ruined ☹️

The sloe gin ones are lush , but I'm not sure if they qualify as mince pies though

I really bloody hope so, they were delicious!

Sometimes they don’t get certain stuff in until December/end of November. I’m crossing my fingers - the chocolate orange ones were amazing!

The Black Forest ones have chocolate I think.

Co-op have chocolate one s this year I think.

I'm craving the chocolate orange ones. They better have them again this year or there'll be trouble......grrrr

They have salted caramel ones in the latest magazine

Waitrose have chocolate and sour cherry mince pies this year. I didn’t think they were that good. I’ll keep an eye out at Aldi for the chocolate orphanage ones. They sound yummy!

I've bought the black forest ones this week. They are nice but nothing like a mince pie.

I also bought almond mince tarts - I wouldn't recommend, too much pastry and not enough filling!

My mum had the aldi Christmas brochure and it showed all the mince pies.
There were lots of flavours but I'm pretty sure no chocolate on it's own. I remember :
Ones with buttercream swirl on top (like cupcakes have)
Iced tops
Nut topped
Salted caramel
Back forest
Sloe gin (I think!)
Mini ones
Corvoisier brandy
Almond mince tarts

Well, at least the poor little mites have got some sweet treats Seeking.

I’m dreaming up ridiculously indulgent mince pie variations in my head now.

Best so far is puff pastry with salted caramel mincemeat and a marzipan lid, caramel icing drizzle and golden sugar stars. DH will have diabetes by 2019.
