Where to buy a duck?

Thinking of doing duck on Xmas day, the DC can have theirs in pancakes like from the Chinese!

A couple of years ago I got a good frozen one from Aldi but they didn’t seem to do them last year. Anyone know where a decent sized one (frozen or fresh) can be found?

Your local butcher

If you want a Chinese style boned duck, do you have any Chines grocers nearby? We always have it in Christmas Day, bought frozen from Chinese supermarket.

Sorry, Chinese not Chines

Lidl does them every year frozen. They are OK but do not compare to one from your local butcher (or even better farmshop).

Asda have whole fresh duck for £7

Morrisons sell a whole duck in the butcher's/meat section.

Saw the frozen ones in Lidl today.

Thanks all. I can’t find a farm shop near me that would do one so may have to be Lidl or Asda.
