It’s a wooden box one that I fill every year - handmade gift the year she was born. It’s beautiful but I struggle to fill it with anything other than chocolate!!

I would rather DD didn’t have chocolate in it every day but the boxes are tiny (think little drawers the size of a wedding favour...smaller than a kinder egg!).

I can do a couple of hair accessories, a lip balm (round not tube), rubbers/tiny stationery....Any other ideas?

Stickers
I got some cute tiny robins in hobbycraft
I put notes in with clues to find slightly bigger stuff once a week, e.g. craft stuff, bubbles

I do a mixture of Christmas jokes, chocolate, cheapie Christmas play mobile figures from eBay, Christmas themed hair clip and lip balms, and notes with activity ideas for that day. We also have somethings that come out every year such as Christmas finger puppets, and notes telling her I've put the Christmas CD or Christmas books under the tree.

I’ve bought sets of small toys second hand - moshi, Pokémon, lego. I give them a run through the dishwasher in a net laundry bag first.

Christmas stamps went down well. The most successful was a set of miniature tree decorations to be added each day to a small Christmas tree.
