Finger paints! My DS is 4 and still loves them.....

Ds got his for his second birthday and still loves it past 4!!
Lots of younger ability ones out now.

My sister got my son Intey magnetic blocks and they are fab. Puzzles my DS loved when he was two too....

My 2 year old DS loves his Janod Magnetic rocket puzzle toy. Plays with it all the time.

Seconding a balance bike, toy kitchen (with food he can ‘cut’ up), puzzles, books, sticker books. All things DS age 2 loves, he’s getting a garage for Christmas and a baby doll and buggy as he’ll also have a new baby sister.

I think it's good to add to existing toys rather than start another 'theme' - if that makes sense.
