8 and 5 year old boys

Sorry I know these threads are a bit annoying. I have 2 boys who are the least obsessive type of kids I know, when I was little I was obsessed with 1 or 2 things and my mum could base the whole of Christmas around those. They literally haven't asked consistently for one thing, if I show them a catalogue they half heartedly point at everything but forget 5 mins later. I don't want to buy for buying sake but I don't tend to buy throughout the year for them so it's a good time to "stock up" for the year! Plus I have family constantly asking!

Sorry waffle over, what are you buying your boys? What are they asking for?

My eldest will turn 6 at Christmas time. Birthday & Christmas presents (from us and others) include:
Hexbugs Nano space set
Hexbug robot wars bits
Lego
Bugs in the kitchen game
RC car
Robot construction set (not sure which yet)
Clock for his room
Hama beads
Nerf gun

DS will be 5 just before Christmas. He mainly shows interest in Lego so we have got him a few sets in the hope that at least if his interest gets more serious then he'll have them to play with and won't grow out of them.

Give them cash, they can then buy things/ pay for activities throughout the year.
