My nine year old boy is getting books - joke book for 9 year olds, football annual, time travelling with a hamster, the explorer and roman mysteries - football soap, personalised wallet, small Lego set and football 3D puzzle. Just trying to think of one last thing.

Slime. They all seem to love slime.

So far my 9 year old is getting minecraft socks and pants. Sweets. Maybe some hot chilli sauce (very into man vs food).minecraft hat/gloves. Some horrible science books. Maybe a stress ball or slime.

Last year my 3 boys (then 10, 13 and 16) each got a Bob the Builder surprise egg as a joke. They loved it. I was worried they'd find it lame but they declared the egg their favourite thing !

Last year I bought my 6yo DD a bath bomb but accidentally put it in my Ds’s stocking. It was chocolate scented and had a sparkly robin on top. Wouldn’t have thought to get it for my DS but he really loved it so might have to get him another!

Choc, I buy mine nice bubble bath and bath bombs from Lush. They love a long soak in the bath.
