What are you feeding Delia's Christmas Creole cake with?

The cake is in the store room. I need to feed it this weekend.
What mixture are you feeding your Creole cake with?

What alcohol did you soak it with?

I use Amarretto to soak my fruit /feed my cake/go in the marzipan but then IMO you can never have too much almond

A light rum might work well with the Creole cake ?

It was a concoction of cherry brandy, rum, brandy, Angostaura bitters and port.

Do I just make some more mix and feed it with this. Delia has not given instructions on this.

She says not to bother feeding it as it has enough booze already, but I always throw caution to the wind and end up feeding it a bit of cherry brandy, or amaretto, or rum, or all three. She says not to ice it either but I usually put a disc of marzipan on the top, because I love it and am not keen on icing, with either the dried fruit or nut topping from the same book on top of it.
