First timer doing Christmas at home! Please inspire me...

This year for the first time we're having xmas at home (me, DH and 2 year old). So this is our first time cooking for Christmas instead of our mums doing it and we'd like to keep it manageable. We are (mainly) vegetarian with the exception of fish and chorizo(!). I have had a go at a menu - any tips or things we might be missing, or ideas to inspire us?

Christmas eve dinner
Buffet type food - salad, smoked salmon, chorizo, veggie sausage rolls, sweet potato fries, quiche, cheeseboard.

Christmas Day breakfast
bucks fizz, croissants, brioche eggy bread, fruit.

Christmas Day
Light lunch:
Sausage rolls
Soup
Other ideas please to make it different from the Christmas eve buffet?

Main meal in the evening:
Mushroom wellington with wild mushroom sauce
Veg (roast potatoes, carrots, red cabbage, brussels sprouts)
Yorkshire puds

Christmas pudding
Possibly another dessert too?
Cheeseboard

Boxing Day
Salad starter
Nut roast
Christmas veg

Christmas cake
Cheese board

Your Christmas Eve buffet is a bit random - foods which I wouldn't usually put together such as smoked salmon with chorizo! But if it's what you like then fine. I'd serve a selection of cheese, pickles, chutneys and pate (smoked salmon/mushroom/smoked mackerel pates) with crackers, flatbreads and oatcakes.

You could do a cheese fondue instead with chunks of sourdough bread, apple, cherry tomatoes, red pepper, potato wedges, pickled onions etc..
