Need ideas for 6yo ds and 3 yo dd!

Both my two say they don't know what they want. I'm stumped and don't want to buy rubbish for the sake of it.

What are you getting your little ones? I need ideas, thanks!

our 3 year olds last year got a bike with stabilizers each. link as well as a helmet and bell. they won't be ready to take off the stabilizers any time soon but they like pedaling around on them.

and a few years ago we got our then 6 year old a micro scooter, which he still uses now (it has adjustable handle bars). along with that he also got a new helmet.

And a secondhand DVD of their favourite film to share.

Mine are the same age as yours. They are both getting scooters. Dd is getting a scootaheadz seat for hers, a dolls bunk bed, a doctors kit, some Lego and maybe a interactive doll. DS is getting a Nintendo DS plus games and they will both get random little bits like books/kinetic sand/Pokemon cards/hair accessories (delete as appropriate!)

DS is getting a microscope kit, set of Tintin books, Lego Harry Potter (small one of HP and the spider), a Bruder rubbish truck, a rugby ball (he's just started playing), Harry Potter pyjamas.

Then a bunch of new felt tip pens, paper pads etc. And sweets

His gifts are coming from different people, not just us

Oh, and a Nerf so he can play silly bugger with his mates!

These are things my nearly 6yo DS will be getting for his birthday and Christmas.
A number of Imaginext sets/figures from the DC and ancient Egyptian ranges.
A Hue HD Stop Motion animation kit.
A Kano build you own computer kit.
K'nex.
Scooby Doo Lego (that took some hunting down on ebay).
A Gorilla Gym.

If you have active kids and a doorway with space on either side the Gorilla Gym could be an amazing shared present for your two. It's the thing I'm most excited about DS getting. I just bought the basic set with a swing and added gym rings, a trapeze bar and a yoga swing separately from ebay. It worked out cheaper than buying the whole big set and I got to get exactly what I think will be the best for him.
