Just that please!
I've been tasked with buying some presents (of varying budgets) for 2 children and not sure where to start...
What are 6 & 4 year olds into these days??
Thank you!

I've bought these for nieces and nephews this year

Do you know anything about their likes and dislikes? Toys they already have?

I always recommend Lego and Happyland as pretty safe bets but you'd need some idea of that their interests are.

Thank you.

I know the girl loves dolls & Disney princesses but has loads already! She is quite physical in terms of liking running, climbing, gymnastics etc.
She loves colouring & stickers too.

The boy is quite sporty - football, tennis, swimming.
He seems to like Lego but again I think he has loads already!
I think he quite likes board games & books...

6 year old boy (I have one!) - There are some good Lego books out there - 365 things to do with Lego, or Lego Chain Reactions? He also likes the Usbourne "Look inside" books too. He is also hoping for a globe, telescope, hot-wheels loop the loop, squishies and '10 little elves / monsters' books.

Oh also I've bought my 5 year old neice a children's 'how to draw book' with step by step pictures of how to do animals/people/food etc etc. Plus one of those sequin colour change little cuddly toys. Maybe good option for the 4 year old girl!

I don't mean to be nosy but when you say you've been tasked with buying do you mean the Santa/FC gifts or that you've been landed with offered to organize relations gifts for the dc?

If it's the first then you need to establish what they already have or risk doubling up and the resultant disappointment/questioning how FC got it so wrong! If relations gifts then you could take a chance (but keep receipts) and buy things like lego/k'nex/book sets/art sets and so on, according to budgets.

I have a boy who turns 6 over the. Heist as period. He is hoping for Hexbugs, Lego City sets, a robot making kit, Snap circuits electronic set (aged older but he’s tried it and loves it), a RC car & K’nex.

NB he won’t get it all, and what he does will be from lots of people across Christmas & his birthday.
