I have a tall 2.5 year old, any recommended scooters for him? Not sure his exact height but he's in age 3-4 clothes.

The Mini Micro scooter is great - sturdy and well-made.

AvoidingDM · 28/10/2018 08:12

At that height either a globber or mini micro.

TokyoSushi · 28/10/2018 08:13

Yep, mini micro

Please please wear a helmet!!

So many kids minus helmets on scooters these days. Turns my stomach.

HairyArmpits · 28/10/2018 08:29

Yep a mini micro. Perfect for my two- they love it!

Vinorosso74 · 28/10/2018 08:35

Definitely a mini micro. They cost more but are so much better than the cheap ones. You may be able to get one second hand.
I sold the one DD had when she ourgrew it and the amount of interest was unbelievable so they go quick.

Mini micro. We had a different (cheap) one and DS couldn't do it. Three days with a second hand micro and he got it!

We have a mini micro and a globber and for some reason the DC’s (4 and 3, have had them since they were 3 and 18 months) prefer the globber. Apparently it’s faster! The micro is good too though.

AvoidingDM · 28/10/2018 09:43

Just for anybody reading this with a short child, the mini micro has a the O handle which the globber doesn't.

fraggle84 · 28/10/2018 13:08

Get the deluxe version of the mini micro as it's handle bars are height adjustable whereas the standard mini micros aren't

We got the Zoom Cruzer from Amazon and it has been brilliant - really good quality and easy for my child to use/steer. Great price too.
