What do you want for Christmas?

I’m pretty much all set for presents for the men in my life, but struggling for the women, plus myself!

What are you hoping for for Christmas?

Perfume chloe love by chloe ,spectrum make up brushes & would love a new michael kors purse x

DH and I don’t buy Christmas presents for each other but class our winter holiday as a present to each other.

Money towards my Holiday in January- me and DH are forgoing Christmas presents due to this!!!

I also just want the whole day to run smoothly as it's my first time doing dinner

But for women generally perfume never can go wrong. I got MIL some beautiful candle holders this year as she's very into her house.

BIBA Reed diffusers are also divine

And Pyjamas!!!!!! I am always so so chuffed with pyjamas. The primark cotton sets are about £13 and last extremely well.

I would love to be taken out to dinner (not expensive, pizza or pub would be just perfect :) )

Or alternatively I'd like a book or a CD/music download chosen by the person giving the gift (anyone likely to give me a present has a fair idea of my - quite broad - tastes)
Or a lovely soft wool knit scarf, nice walking socks or soft lambswool gloves.

I'd hate & wouldn't use perfume, reed diffusers, scented candles or any other smellies.

(I'm late 40s if that helps)

Or I'd be very, very happy with a bottle of cava / prosecco / champagne depending on giver's budget!

Someone to decorate my hall and put up banisters for my son to help him with the stairs. Dh is doing the bathroom which also needs finishing but the state of my house gets me down

I also love pyjamas. Perfume I end up with too much of even though I think it's a lovely gift, I just don't wear it much. Hat and glove sets are also a good idea, or fancy shampoo etc

A (very simple) astronomy book. Now I have a telescope I realise that I can basically identify the moon, Orion and the plough. I want to learn more.

Some funny earrings. I nearly bought some on holiday but stopped myself for no good reason. They were less than £10.

I’d love some soft and warm socks, I get cold feet and can’t sleep so wear socks to bed all year round.

A nice soap, I use it instead of shower gel.

I think perfume can go very wrong, because people have such different tastes.

I’m not sure there’s much I really want/need but I would like (we don’t choose but can give hints via other family members)

• an Edwardian Suffragette brooch (nice pearl and amethyst one)- a
• a cake decorating course
• a new medium sized suitcase in easily recognisable colour/design
• cotton gloves for pulling warps when on boat
• Folding wireless headphones
• A boiled wool coat

I’ll be given nice soaps from L’occitane, Jo Malone, Slipper socks, a cookery book, makeup that is then borrowed and never seen again, creme de la mer and a scarf or two.

A horse.

I would just like something that shows the person has taken my tastes and interests into account and not just grabbed something from Boots.
