I'm finding that the present piles gets smaller and more expensive.

The ‘big’ present will be theatre tickets but we’ll also get books, stationery, hair accessories, a board game and some little toys. She’s not too grown up to want to unwrap lots of ‘stuff’!

Ds wants farm stuff. He has never really had any and we aren't farmers. I was thinking maybe a milking parlour and some cows.

Bendy and the ink machine obsessive in our house.
I tend to look on cool uncle, and trawl "most wanted" lists and pick out anything that isn't overhyped craze tat. Generally, he doesn't really know what he's getting. I think we both prefer it that way. He's never been too bothered about furbie type must haves. Big hits have been a telescope and book to help identify what he's looking at. A glider in his stocking that he played with for hours and hours. And lego. He'll still play daily with his lego.

I'm pretty sure the HP lego hogwarts will feature somewhere. And he'll find out on Christmas day that he's going to Wembley to see the BBC dinosaurs two days later, then hogwarts in the snow the next day, then (bring dragged around the sales in the morning) Kew garden light spectacular the next day, ending with flying to Disneyland Paris for NYE. He's going to pop [santa]
