What can I put in international Christmas cards (flat, small & light)?

I live overseas and always send my UK friends and family Christmas Cards.

What can I put in the cards to make the lovely recipients smile? I think max weight is only 20g - including card.

Any ideas? Had thought of tin Christmas decorations, but can't find any.

Food probably wouldn't be allowed in the post.

What have you had in the post that made you smile and feel loved?

Do you have young DCs? If so, how about a picture they have drawn especially for the recipient?

Depending on who sending to obvs - beautiful stamps - some of my us recipients adore uk stamps. bookmarkers - museum or touristy uk iconic places. Temporary tattoos followed up by emailed photo of you wearing one/thinking of them. Small silk scarfs/squares. Small thin light uncrushable necklace. Tin decorations are available but rather crushable/bendable. What about material decorations? Mini material bunting type string treee decorations ? Good luck !!!

Many years ago my friend sent me a personalised, hand made bookmark. I still treasure it!

Wooden decs buy from amazon, £1 for ten then decorate yourself. Personalised and a lot cheaper than 2.99 for 1 already decorated!

Personalised bookmark create & print at home then laminate x

My dad lives in Canada and every year we send him a personalised calendar of our DD’s. We also get him to make an amazon gift list (as do we this end) and purchase something off there for him, as he does for us. Next year I’m going to find a decent place to have his calendar made in Canada then I only have to send cards. Might be something to consider doing yourself?

Not sure if this is allowed from where you are but seeds or bulbs for plants/flowers which you wouldn't geb here?
