Watching!

Oldraver · 19/10/2018 16:54

I have an almost teen with absolutely no idea what to buy

GoldenBuns · 19/10/2018 17:03

I'm a bit stumped too. They are both getting into clothes so I may be giving them some cash towards that.

When dd15 was 13 I got her a beautiful leather jacket from Zara. She loved it. I might get her another one this year.

Ds13 has been talking about long boards and bmx bikes.

Leeds2 · 19/10/2018 18:07

Chilly bottles.

DangerousMouse · 19/10/2018 18:16

My DD is 14, I've got her some AirPod ear thingys, chilly bottle, Naked Palette, topshop/hollister clothes, STEM books..

snowmanshoes · 19/10/2018 20:29

Hollister clothes, those revolution chocolate/candy eyeshadow palettes, 7th heaven face masks, fitbit; all these things are being mentioned by the younger teens I know

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 19/10/2018 21:13

For mine (16)

Gift voucher Top Shop and Victoria Secret Pink

She has a couple of cacti (one from Ikea, one from Urban Outfitters)

Various phone cases and new cables

Apart from clothes and shoes she hasn't mentioned anything that I can think of .

Chimchar · 19/10/2018 21:23

Watching with interest!

Dd is 15. Going to get her an ASOS voucher I think.
A chilly bottle.
Lush bath bombs.
Hair masks
False lashes
Biscoff spread
Posh hot chocolate

davisday · 19/10/2018 21:35

I have got tickets to Hamilton for mine. Which involves a rather lengthy and expensive trip to London.

Little bits and bobs for on the day.

GoldenMcOldie · 20/10/2018 02:19

Off to Google a chilly bottle...

I have 2 boys - 14 & 17. It is soooooo hard.

I totally misread the op...I have teen boys too.

They will be getting new razor, blades, shave foam etc
Shower gel
Posh chocolate
Chilli sauce
Miniature bottle of grey goose vodka
35mm film for camera
Trainer wipes and care kit (crep protect)
Cactus
Film Poster
Bits for PS4 controller (you can buy them in game...little nobble things to go on the buttons)
New phone charging cable
Battery pack
Magazine...GQ special type thing.

Firebox is great for ideas, and urban outfitters have nice gifts and books, as well as trendy clothes.

Jagblue · 20/10/2018 08:59

Our ds 13 by then wants an Xbox X, games and money. It's his birthday the same week.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 20/10/2018 09:20

My soon-to-be 19yo DS has money (birthday and Christmas) and is after a new guitar (he got a cheapie one to see if he likes playing with the promise of an upgrade) so we'll be searching on Black Friday.

Teens are nightmares Xmas Grin expensive, their present pile has tiny £££ gifts.
And wait till they want driving lessons !

GoldenMcOldie · 20/10/2018 09:47

Arghhhh....it is so hard.

So far for DS1
Plane ticket from Germany to UK for Xmas
Tickets to the opera
New Jean + sweater

Ds2
Ps4 pro + games
Small bits & pieces

So DS 13 and DS 15 - they have everything and anything electronic and phones

Currently bought
DS 1 Hollister clothes, shed load of x box games
DS 2 shed load of x box and switch games

Will get an expansion pack for what do you meme and cards against humanity, already have the extension pack for exploding kittens. Will get some more board games/ big potato games and an escape game. A stress banana for DS1 for his gcse's. DS 2 likes little wind up music boxes so will get him another one of those.

They don't need anything - we regularly go to the theatre so wouldn't get tickets. They will get money from the family and have enough to buy what they want. I've done driving experiences and zoo experiences. Its getting harder every year.
