Gifts ds13 will actually like that aren’t PS4 games!

Ds13 loves his PS4, but screen time is limited plus it’s removed as a sanction for bad behaviour. He’ll still get a game for Christmas, but what else should I get? He hasn’t got a lot of other interests (boxing and trampolining once a week, reading) and isn’t into clothes etc yet. I don’t want to get him something he won’t use but have no ideas what he’d like. Is there anything anyone can suggest?

Amazon echo dot?

A tablet? Good for downloading games as well as going on YouTube and other apps.

Is there any cds or movies he would like? Maybe vouchers for the cinema or some kind of activity he can go to, maybe laser tag?

DS14 had a quite a bit of birthday money and bought himself a freestanding basketball hoop. Not something he'd ever asked for but it has had a lot of use.

I have no idea what echo dots do! I thought they just played music and made shopping lists. Am I missing something?

He’d love a tablet, but it’d be basically another screen to play games on, which is what I’m hoping to get away from.
