At work we’re all doing a Christmas Box for children in a Women’s Refuge. I was ‘allocated’ a 16 year old boy and have no idea where to start! I have a month and can spend up to £25 (no vouchers are allowed ☹️).
I can either decorate a shoe box or buy a box around the same size or a bit bigger which I’ll do.
Any tips on really ‘cool’ things a 16 year old boy would like?

A beanie hat from Hype or Sonetti around £12 plus Adidas or hype toiletries and if there is money over some cool socks or boxers. Worth a look in T K Max if you have the time as they often have brands like Calvin Klein for socks and underwear. I did a similar box and just split the packs from TK Max giving the rest to my nephew to keep within the budget. ASDA did some great Adidas gift sets last year that didn’t break the bank and maybe Boots will have a 3 for 2 if you can find a home for other bits xx

Yes agree with 18 American sweets. B and M do boxes of Mike Ikes Jelly Beans, Reeses, Jolly Rancher etc for a £1 a box, the kids love them, my naughty son sells them at school and they are best sellers x

Maybe a rucksack? Could fill it with snacks and toiletries
A watch
A hoody
Stationary

I'd use caution when stuff is tech related even headphones. In the past when doing a similar kind of thing we were advised because the kids were from such low income areas we couldn't assume they had phones/mp3 players/access to computers etc. As very few of them did.
