Xmas parties as a t-totaller

Anyone else find Xmas parties (in particular) isolating when you don't drink? Within an hour everyone's smashed and you're on your tod? It's not like I can fake being busy when there's a mums one, a work one, a friends one etc etc.

Not t-total but will only have one drink and choose to drive (I don't like being drunk, I don't like hangovers, and I think alcohol ruins your skin and those calories are much better used for cake haha)
I only go to parties that involve food. So I have the Christmas dinner then leave within an hour. It's just dull watching everyone else get wasted and just reaffirms to me why I don't drink - because I don't want to make a tit of myself.
And everyone I know and work with know this about me so it's ok, even though I have missed out on many a birthday celebration or leaving do because it's always a pub crawl.
