Not sure what to get DH this year

He’s mentioned previously he’d like a coffee machine so maybe that but the decent bean to cup ones are quite expensive

He always needs clothes so will probably get him a jumper but that’s not going to cut it alone

Randomly, I thought I might get home one go those water flossing gadgets as he likes his top of the range oral b toothbrush but need to double check price as not sure that works as a “main” present

I would spend up to about £200 (coffee machines seem to be more than this) but less if possible as we have a baby due early next year and I don’t want to spend loads this Christmas...

Nespresso machine ? £150.bosch coffee machine can often go for £40 in b&m

ilooovechristmas I think Nespressonis a pod one though, not bean to cup? I was looking at Nespressos before and then later we went shopping and he told me he’d want a bean to cup. Not sure about the Bosch one but will have a look 🙂

He is a bit on off with the gym. early this year he’d started boxing for a charity event so I bought hi so boxing stuff.

He likes playing games on his phone!!

He plans to take up squash again.

He likes gadgets and could probably do with a new iPhone but I’m not going there at the moment...

🤔

He likes cooking, as do I, but not sure about a kitchen gadget other than coffee machine

He likes nice cuff links so that’s what I got him last year. Year before that I got him Apple Watch as had said he wanted it

We could do with Sky tv or something but that’s not really a christmas present 😂

A good pair of non-marking trainers for squash/gym/boxing? Can be used for all 3 sports.

A matching Tie/Cufflink/Tie Clip set.

Lots of little gadgets to be had. Maybe a good set of wireless bluetooth headphones? Again, can be useful for sports or just for walking around. Also maybe a USB power bank for his phone?

AliceRR · 14/10/2018 12:36

@Ricekrispie22 I’ll have to look some of those up!

@Seethis trainers or Bluetooth earphones is a good idea. He had some but I bet he doesn’t have them now as he’s often looking for earphones!

I’d keep an eye out for Amazon Black Friday deals for the coffee machine. That plus a coffee bean subscription and Bodum coffee cups would be a great gift.

Last year I bought DH a bread mixer which went down really well and gets used at least once a week.

This year, I’m getting him an Ancestry DNA kit, lounge pants & top, a knife block (all our nice knives just rattle round in the drawer), new work shoes and a new hoodie/top for him to wear over his gym clothes.

AliceRR · 14/10/2018 16:42

@CaseStudyResearch Yes I think I will look out for a Black Friday deal. I think I did last year and not sure what happened, maybe was overwhelmed with all the choice!

Sounds like you have your DH sorted!

I do know a couple of items I’ll get him like a jumper and some socks(!) but need something exciting in there too!
