Main Christmas present for 4 month baby

Hi! My DS will be 4 months at Christmas and I’m not sure what to get him

I don’t really want to get him lots of presents as let’s be realistic, hes hardly going to remember it

However I do still want to get him something...more something we can keep as his ‘first Christmas present’

Family are likely to get clothes and other practical things

Does anyone have any good ideas/what did you do for your DC when they were small?

We got our daughter a lovely book and I wrote a little message in it. I'm planning on doing the same again this year. It's a nice thing you can keep as a memento, get plenty on use from and it's not expensive.

We got ours a beautiful money box. They still have them now

Really special toy which will have play value for years.

I was very practical when my babies were little, didn't buy them a proper present because whats the point etc etc and I really regret it! Indulge, create memories

We got a jumperoo too! And a letter from Santa in case he questions it in the future as how did he know.
Stocking with DC name that they have forever aswell.

Thanks for all of the ideas everyone. Think I’m going to go with a book, personalised stocking and bauble and maybe a Christmas Eve box to start making some family traditions

My little grandchild will be three months at Xmas. I’ve tried not to go overboard-honest!! He will have a long while til his birthday so some stuff will do for when he is a little older-
Musical toot toot reindeer, playmobil 123 ark, weaning bowls and spoons, a personalised star cushion and babygro, a penguin light projector, a baby lush bomb, a teether

I will let his mummy buy his stocking but I will be looking for a nice Xmas book for him after this thread.

I know it's a bit old for him but I love it and it'll be a great toy to grow into.
