Favourite Christmas "posh" treats

I'm looking for some nice little treats that obviously wouldn't be brought on a normal basis.

We usually like to get some posh biscuits from Fortnum and mason and some Charbonnel et Walker chocolate truffles.

What are your little Christmas luxury's? X

Marzipan fruits
Iced mince pies
Harrods Christmas coffee - i love how smooth it is and it has a lovely chocolately hint.

We used to buy a big box of Hotel Chocolat just for us but we get given so many boxes now we don't bother.

Truffle Brie - it's AMAZING and just for the Christmas Day cheeseboard.

Aww thanks Fear - they are sooo much nicer than a generic box of roses or quality street, for us at least!

I like the 80th anniversary Roses tins

Lumpfish roe (caviar for the non-rich) and mini blinis. We used to have the lumpfish roe, only at Christmas, when I was a child, on little squares of toast, with a squeeze of lemon, delicious.

From La Cave a Fromage - a Stilton soaked in port for 3 days (they do it themselves)
Stinking Bishop
Opies special pickled walnuts - they do a port version as well as the standard - can't always find them, but it's worth it when I do!
Salmon 'caviar'

I love the posh range at Aldi (in the turquoise packets just like f&m). I also bother to cook things as an attempt to not be upstaged by my mother! Most of the expensive treats though are alcoholic - chateauneuf du pape, champagne, tequila, vodka, Malibu, archers ... I have teenagers (but they hate red wine thank goodness).

Buffalo cheese from our farmer's market, red Windsor cheese. Kettle Chips. We also have Christmas beers if and when we can find them

Marron glacé, dates filled with marzipan, proper Italian nougat (that looks like a slice of cake, can’t remember its name!), York Fruits, After Eights, Bendicks, yummy cheese, brandy butter mmmmmmm!
